CONCERN NEEDS BAGS PDF Print E-mail
Our box of bags is empty.  When you go shopping you get your groceries in paper and/or plastic bags.  Well ... CONCERN needs those bags.  We can use paper and plastic bags which are clean and slightly used to give out the food from our pantry.

You may not think your contribution will help but we need help.  See how many bags your youth can collect.  Have contests between Sunday schools.  It is important to us to have plastic bags for the frozen food and another for laundry soap so they don't go in the same bag.

If you have any questions, please call Susan Scott at CONCERN, 336-4693.

Masonic Breakfast 3/18/06 PDF Print E-mail

The CONCERN Fundraising Committee sends a huge "Thank You" to everyone who sold tickets, volunteered, or just came and ate at the pancake breakfast Saturday at the Masonic Lodge. CONCERN board members sold over 200 tickets prior to the breakfast - GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!  More money was turned in Saturday morning so I don't have a final total yet.  The Lodge served 500 people, which is a record.  To all those who volunteered at the breakfast cleaning tables, etc., we couldn't have done without your excellent help.  The breakfast was a big success!!!   Thank you, thank you everyone for a job well done!!
